Lily's Naming and Blessing

Lily was named and blessed today at our church in Santa Monica. We are happy that Grandpa Carroll was able to come and participate in this special occasion. Lily wore the same dress that mom wore when she was blessed and that made it extra special. She also had the same blanket that Spencer used when he was blessed, made for him by his great grandma Law. In fact, he remembered it and decided he wanted and so promply took it from her. Oh well. Spencer is getting over his jealousy of Lily and gives her hugs and kisses everyday. However a few weeks after she was born he asked if he could throw her in the garbage. No! But hey, we're glad he asked before he tried!
