Spencer is TWO YEARS old! (as of Feb 19th) He is getting to be quite the conversationalist and he will give you a running dialogue of things that are in the house or outside, count them, and tell you what color they are. If you are lucky he will tell you which things are yucky (yes he has taste-tested sand, rocks, etc), yummy (fruit snacks, oranges, and ice cream), hot or cold.
Spencer had a great birthday party with some friends from the neighborhood and from music class. We had also found a gluten-free bakery near us and improvized by making cupcakes out of their chocolate zucchini muffins. Thanks to our friend and neighbor Cheryl, they turned out to be very beautiful and also yummy!
Spencer's biggest achievement he has made by turning two is: NO MORE PACIFIER!!!!!
Surprisingly he didn't put up much of a fuss. yay! Unfortunately the power went out for most of the day so we went to dinner and then had ice cream by candlelight and flashlight (Spencer's favorite part of the evening!)
