I am thankful for so much-Heavenly Father has truly blessed me and my family and we give credit to Him for all of our blessings. I can't name them all, but I will name a few. I am thankful for....
-My Savior-for His perfect example and for giving His life for me and for all of us so that some day we may return to live with Him and our families forever.
-My husband-He is "my match" in every way and I love how perfectly our interests and talents blend, and how our different strengths make up for our different weaknesses, to make us stronger and wiser as a couple. Marriage is a wonderful thing!
-My two beautiful children whom I adore with all my heart. They give me so many opportunities to serve and learn so many important lessons. They also love me unconditionally and give me an unending supply of kisses, hugs, and "I love you mommy" every day.
-My family-for the love support they have given me and continue give me even when they might not agree with all of the decisions that I make.
-Our founding fathers-for giving everything to make a better place for their children and my children. Hooray for the constitution, democracy, and all of the freedoms we enjoy because of it. I love this country!
-Some funny random things I thought of this week: heating, electricity, umbrellas, disposable bibs, wipes, shoes, toothbrushes, books, education, internet, friends, avacados, Whole Foods tapioca bread, crackers and rice cookies, pacifiers, refrigerators/freezers, paychecks, garbage trucks, the ocean, religious freedom, cars, songs, sunsets, toy trains and teddybears, food, etc.
Here are some pics to enjoy as well....
Lily has pigtails!
A closer look, just in case you missed them, they're so tiny!
Spencer at the zoo
I think Lily thinks this goat is like a giant stuffed animal! She is in love with them.
Gpa and Spencer on "Its a small world" ride at D-land
Uncle Ray shows the kids the wonders of the Ipod. They are very impressed, especially with the bubble game.
Lily with the new bear Gpa got for her, in her Christmas dress.
Spencer eating BREAD!!!! This just about brought tears to my eyes, he is eating a sandwich like a normal kid. Hooray for Whole Foods, even though this tapioca loaf cost almost $6.
Enjoying our traditional Sunday sunset walk on the beach.
Lily eating avacados. She hasn't been gaining weight (she has been 14 lbs for 3 months now) even though she is growing and is otherwise just fine. (She already has 5+ words in her vocab-not bad for 10 months old!) So, we feed her an avacado a day. Luckily, she loves them! *Update-Lily now weighs 15 lbs 80z-go avacados!

Hi Jen,
Your children are beautiful! So much fun- trips to Disneyland and walks on the beach! I love the tiny pigtails.
I noticed the links on your side bar- does Spencer have celiac disease or a wheat allergy? Both probably mean the same food issues. My doctor suggested testing my kids and myself for celiac at this weeks check up and I am looking for a fmily history at all to justify all the needle pokes.
Hi Jannet!
So, the links on my blog to celiac sites are for the recipes that are wheat free, and for the great info they have for family and friends associating with or having a child with an allergy/intolerance. See my new post for an update on my kids!
