We did it!

We finally made it to a real pumpkin patch! Living in NYC and now LA has made it difficult in past years, but we took the hour long drive out of the city and had a great time. Spencer's favorite part-riding the tractors, big and small (he did ask if he could ride the pigs too, sorry buddy). He also enjoyed the corn maze, especially the part of picking which way to go at every turn. Lily's favorite part-just running around in all the open space. She also liked the chickens and really tempted them by wiggling her cute little fingers through the chicken wire




Lily tried hard to lift the big pumpkins. They probably weighed more than her 20 lbs!

Spencer asked me today what I thought was inside our pumpkin. I asked him what he thought, and he replied "maybe there is candy inside!" He will be pretty disappointed when he finds out the nasty stinkyness that is actually inside a real pumpkin!
