These past few months I have braved the sewing machine, sewing needle, and glue gun. I'm not what some would call "crafty" and my artistic side is more in dance and music than in domestic crafting. However, I have branched out and tried my hand at a few things which turned out pretty well for my first time.
Here is a cushion I sewed the cover for. I had to protect the top of my hope chest from all of the car driving that Spencer wants to do on every surface in the house. It took me all day to make this, even with great directions from Lynda, my mother-in-law. Thanks again!
These are some bows I made with some of the other young moms in our ward. We had a great time. They also fixed my poorly misshapen attempts at bow-making. Thanks guys!
