Here is our Christmas letter, one day we will actually send one out-maybe even with a picture! But alas, we are always too busy and procrastinate until it never happens. Maybe next year. Here it is, 2008-the year of a lot of first time experiences:
Lee Family 2008
JANUARY
The best part of this year was definitely welcoming our first daughter into the world. I am amazed at how different it is raising a girl this time around. I especially enjoy dressing her up and putting bows on her cute little almost bald head. She knows 12+ words and sounds now, including leche, luz, agua, yum yum!, no no, sí, bebé, baby, hi, bye bye, banana, wow wow-doggie sound, quack quack, pío pío-baby chick sound, and roar!-lion. She is sooooo close to walking but prefers instead to bounce up and down while standing.
FEBRUARY
Spencercito turned 2 years old! He has learned cause and effect, which means that bribes are working great! Who knew that a 2 year old would eat all of his dinner for one green m&m? He keeps us on our toes and is quick to laugh, sing, and tell stories. He also loves to clean up (with the clean up song, of course!) and knows just where each helicopter, train, or plane should go. He also doen't mind performing his many songs for anyone and everyone. His favories include: The wiseman song, clean up, Noah's ark, Arca de Noe, Estrellita (twinkle twinkle in spanish), and Jesus en pesebre (Away in a Manger).
APRIL
Lily's first time in a swimsuit at the beach.
MAY
Spencer's first camping trip. He really enjoyed camping with his daddy.
JULY

My first real hospital position in CA: I started work as a Registered Nurse at Cedar's Sinai Medical Center on the postpartum unit. Shelly was our nanny for the month and she was awesome! The kids love her and were excited to see her again during Christmas. We couldn't have gotten through July without her, thanks again Shelly!
Also, our first of many family trips to Disneyland!
AUGUST
Our second year of dental school started, and his first time seeing an actual paying patient. Spencer (daddy)'s birthday. Spencer is such a great man, husband, and father. I am so glad our children have his example of what a real man is and how a real man treats his family and others. He is a great leader in our family and we love him!
OCTOBER
Our first ER visit, what fun! One more badge of parenthood earned. His little chin has healed just fine.
NOVEMBER
Seeing Uncle Ray (his first visit) and Grandpa Carroll for a week was great, we had lots of fun while they were here with us and we missed them when they had to go.
DECEMBER
Spencer and Lily's first real snow experience. (Spencer was too little to remember freezing in NYC). Even more than playing in it they loved to eat it! Lily especially liked the taste.

2008 was a great year! We hope 2009 is even better for us and for all of you,
Love, the Lees
