So, I've come to the sad conclusion that NYC culture has officially worn off of us. We are getting too comfy in suburbia. On Friday we decided to let Spencer play in the indoor playground at our little mall here in Culver City. Did we keep our stroller in sight? Did we take our diaper bag with us? a big NO to both questions and what happened? Someone stole my nursing cover!!! Why they didn't take my planner with my credit cards and my money I don't know-(they could have bought a new nursing cover for heaven's sake!)Why didn't they take the Bjorn that was right in front of it?
I was pretty mad; at myself for being lax with our stuff, and mad at whoever it was for being so inconsiderate! I mean really, a used (but pretty cute) nursing cover? (though they are kind of expensive) So I wonder if every time that person nurses (assuming they actually use it for more than a few days) they will think, "hey, I'm so glad I stole this nursing cover!" That is pretty weird if you ask me. Oh well, I have decided that I will try my hand at making a new one, since I'll probably be nursing at least another year with Lily, and who knows with any other kiddos we hope to have in the future. In short-even in suburbia one needs to be careful. What a crazy world we live in!

Hey was that the nursing cover I gave you??? The nerve!! Too bad, so sad. At five months old Dallin had outgrown his - meaning he'd pull at it and it was futile using it. Maybe it's the case with Lily?? Way to go on the job and happy 5 months Lily! Um, if you check my blog you'll see we were in So. Cal. for a family reunion. I wish we could've come by, but we really couldn't break away from family. Hopefully next time!
So sad! Masha has made a bunch so I bet she could help you make a new one. I am always so nervous about our stroller when we go to that place at the mall (the fruit right?) but now I know what to really protect!
Yes, that was the nursing cover you gave me Amy-oh well. I am in the process of making a replacement (with my friend Masha's help), Lily always pull off the blanket over the shoulder.
