Random Lee moments

Its been awhile since our last blog, because we have been BUSY! Spencer is at school on average of 13 hours a day. (sometimes a little less, many times a lot more!) But, I have been managing to console myself with the thought that once he's a practicing dentist he'll have excellent office hours and plenty of time for us! Until then, I've had to amuse myself and the kiddos. Here is a little of what we have been doing.

USC spouse's club activity (where all of us neglected wives of dental students gather) Spencer loved the Kidspace museum in Pasadena. For days after he kept asking to go back there.

Of course, he got to play with scissors and climb things, both no no's in our house. He kept looking at me like "Look mom, I'm playing with scissors..I'm going to cut something! Aren't you going to stop me?"

Spencer plays in the construction zone.

Spencer spent at least 30 minutes in that jeep.

LOVING the tricycles, although he always chose one that was too big for him. He also keeps asking for a tricycle every day. (we're working on it)

Spencer plays house and tries to eat all of the fake plastic food. Yum!

The park. I'm joining Culver City mom's club so Spencer can get a little more interaction with other kiddos, and so mommy can get a little more interaction besides just the kiddos :)
Playing at home. Spencer loves to "help" Lily roll over, even though she is perfectly capable of doing it on her own (and has been, for the past month). He also loves to show her how he rolls over, and always wants to do it together. Pretty cute, I think.

Lily starting to roll over...

Lily turns to the side...

Lily rolls over! Yay Lily!!!
Our pool.

Lily loves to swim! So I let her. We jump in the pool almost every day. Mommy and me swimming (except every time its scheduled it actually gets cloudy and cold!)

The beach

Spencer loves wearing my sunglasses and just "chillin'" in our beach tent.

We were boogie-boarding and saw lots of jellyfish in the water-and then we decided to stop boogie-boarding. Here is one that washed ashore. Spencercito really wanted to touch it, so did I-but I knew better.

Funny Spencercito moment: At the park: Spencer finds something on the ground.."Look mom! an insect! LOOK! Its walking! Its walking with its FEET! Spencer looks again..."and with its HANDS!" He was soooo excited! But the funny thing was that it wasn't even an insect-it was a seed on the ground. Silly boy.
