No longer unemployed....Soon to be a Celebrity RN!

Okay, so I wasn't really unemployed, the agency I work with was just on hold since Lily refused to take a bottle. Well....she'll take one now (the first thought that popped into my head while she was drinking it was "FREEDOM!" (now we can go on a date without both the munchkins) Do I remember what that is like?
Other great news is that I have accepted a job I didn't think I would get, at Cedars-Sinai. It is the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital of Los Angeles and as a bonus also delivers a lot of celebrities' babies so who knows, maybe I'll see a few a little more up close and personal! (not that I could ever tell anyone....a minor little patient confidentiality law called HIPAA, but it will still be pretty cool.) Another bonus is that I am working the coveted position of Per-Diem, meaning I choose my schedule and I only have to work 1 day per week. The last bonus is that the pay is great! (Not that it really matters, except to our student loan lender, Sallie-Mae-since all of my paycheck goes toward Columbia nursing school debt anyway)
However, I am excited to keep up-to-date on my nursing skills without sacrificing too much time from my precious family.
